The puppies are now 6 days old, and as can be seen by this
puppy, the black pigment is appearing on their face and
pads.

lot of time feeding and cleaning her puppies.

| With
our last few litters, we have used a technique known as "The
Superdog Programme". This a series of stimulations on
the puppies, where different sensations are introduced to
the puppies as their neurological systems are developing.
The reason for this, is that it is claimed to make the puppies
healthier and more intelligent as they grow-up. The puppies
seem to enjoy the sensation, especially when it has been done
a few times, so we decided to continue with this litter. Does
it make the puppies any more healthy and intelligent? Well,
the puppies from previous litters that have been given this
stimulation certainly seem to be bright and intelligent with
no reported problems! The details of this programme can be
found on this link; http://www.guncreeklabradors.com/ENS/ENS.htm.
We have taken a series of photos of the puppies going through
their 'exercises', which correspond with the text in the above
document. It only a few seconds per puppy, and we think that
it is worth the time spent. |

The first exercise is to hold the puppy head-up.....

....followed by head-down.....

.....then it is a few seconds on their back.....

...followed by laying on a damp cloth.....

....the final exercise is to tickle the toes with a cotton-bud.

As can be seen from this photo, the puppies now have their
eyes open, although they still cannot see very well.
